What Is Hypnobirthing®?

HypnoBirthing® is as much a philosophy as it is a technique. It is based on the belief that when a mother is properly prepared for birthing physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally, she can experience the joy of birthing her baby with calm confidence and ease.

HypnoBirthing® is a comprehensive childbirth education program which teaches techniques of deep relaxation, self-hypnosis, special breathing techniques, visualizations, affirmations and education about the birth process, to help mom stay in a hypnotic state throughout her labor. In this naturally induced state of deep relaxation, birthing becomes a calm, relaxed, instinctual experience, instead of fearful, tense and painful.

So if the idea of giving birth fills you with fear and anxiety, the HypnoBirthing® program will give you the tools you need to look forward to your birthing day with calm confidence and excitement.

What Class Options Do I Have?

The HypnoBirthing® Class Package Includes:

• 5 live online classes (each 2 1/2 hours) – so you can ask ALL your questions as they come up. (visit https://us.hypnobirthing.com/parents/about-the-hypnobirthing-classes/ for course outline) – mom, her birth companion and any other support person are welcome to attend.
• A copy of the most recent edition of the HypnoBirthing® text (the Mongan Method)
• A handbook with various worksheets, illustrations and relaxation scripts to help guide you as you work through the program and for reference during labor.
• 4 hypnosis for birth audio recordings
• Each class features 2 exclusive birth videos from families who have birthed using the HypnoBirthing® program, which you will not see anywhere else.
• Group class format, so you can connect with other moms and dads and support each other.
• Email and phone support up to 6 weeks postpartum.
• Invitation to attend subsequent online HypnoBirthing® class sessions up until your birthing day.
