When should I take the class?

Most couples take the class when they are between 20-32 weeks of their pregnancy. This allows for ample time to practice and integrate the HypnoBirthing® techniques, which will allow them to stay in a deeply relaxed state throughout their labor. When you are relaxed during your labor, your birthing instinct can take over. With your birthing instinct running the show, instead of fear, your body can work most efficiently to bring your baby into the world without tension or pain.

what if I am past 32 weeks pregnant? Is it too late to take the course?

If you are past 32 weeks pregnant but are still interested in taking the course, you can register for a private session. During a private session, we can schedule the classes to make sure you will complete the course well before your due date, so you will have ample time to practice the techniques before you go into labor. Private sessions also allow for specialized one-on-one attention, to make sure you thoroughly understand the techniques and how to integrate them to help you create the birth you desire.

can i just learn the techniques from reading the book?

The “HypnoBirthing® – The Mongan Method” text is an excellent resource for learning about how the HypnoBirthing® program works, However, there are a number of different relaxation scripts and relaxation tracks that you can only gain access to by taking a class. And without being able to integrate these tools into your practice, you will not be able to achieve the same depth of birthing hypnosis necessary to achieve a comfortable easy birth.

What is included in the course cost?

The HypnoBirthing® Class Package includes:

• 5 live online classes (each 2 1/2 hours) – so you can ask ALL your questions as they come up. 
• A copy of the the most recent edition of the HypnoBirthing® text (the Mongan Method)
• A handbook with various worksheets, illustrations and relaxation scripts to help guide you as you work through the program, and as a reference during labor.
• 4 hypnosis for birth audio recordings
• Each class features 2 exclusive birth videos from families who have birthed using the HypnoBirthing® program, which you will not see anywhere else.
• Group class format, so you can connect with other moms and dads and support each other.

What if I miss a class?

Unfortunately, the HypnoBirthing® Institute prohibits us from recording any of the classes. So if you miss a class, you have 2 options:

• You can attend the class you missed during the next session of online group HypnoBirthing® Classes for no extra charge
• You can schedule a private 2 1/2 hour make up class to catch up on the course material you missed for a charge of $100. The class will be scheduled at a time which is convenient for you. Note: Each private makeup class is designed to cover the material missed in one session. You will need to schedule additional private sessions if you missed more than one class, each at a cost of $100/make up class.

How much does the course cost?

The cost of the HypnoBirthing®Class Package is $249 + $50 for class materials. But if you and a friend sign up for the same HypnoBirthing® Class Session, each of you will save $50 off the HypnoBIrthing® Class Package!

Normally, the cost of the full course is due by the first day of classes. However, I am happy to work out a payment plan over the five weeks if that would make the class more accessible for you. And if you are really interested in taking the class, but the cost makes it inaccessible to you, I am open to offering the class on a sliding scale, so please contact me and we can discuss this.

How do i register?

• Fill out the registration form online
• Click on the “Pay by PayPal” button to pay your $50 deposit to reserve your spot
• You will receive a confirmation email with an online link to join the class within 24 hours of receiving your deposit.
• Your class materials will be mailed/dropped off within 48 hours of receiving your deposit.
• The remaining balance will be due on the first day of classes, unless other payment arrangements have been made.
